Clear, fair refund rules for our subscriptions and one-time PDF purchases. We believe in transparency — no fine print surprises.
The Key Rule to Know
If you download a PDF (one-time or via Pro subscription) within 7 days of purchase, the charge is non-refundable — because the digital product has been delivered and consumed. However, you can always cancel your subscription to stop future billing. You keep Pro access through the end of your paid period.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Resumflow issues refunds for purchases made on resumflow.com. Because we offer both SaaS subscriptions and digital product purchases (PDF exports and downloadable template files), the refund rules differ by product type.
We encourage you to review these terms carefully before making any purchase. If you have questions, our support team is available at support@resumflow.com.
2. Our Products & Pricing
Resumflow currently offers the following paid products:

- • Immediate download access
- • Personal use license
- • Unlimited PDF downloads
- • All 80+ templates
- • AI writing suggestions
- • Priority support
The free plan remains available at no cost and does not require payment information.
3. Pro Subscription Refunds
We offer a 7-day refund window on new Pro subscription charges, provided you have not downloaded any PDF during that period (see Section 5 for the PDF download rule).
Eligible for refund:
- Your first Pro subscription charge, requested within 7 calendar daysof the charge date
- You have not initiated any PDF download during the subscription period
- Duplicate charges caused by a billing error on our end
- Charges made after cancellation due to a technical processing error
Not eligible for refund:
- Renewal charges on recurring billing cycles (monthly renewals after the initial period)
- Subscriptions where one or more PDF downloads were initiated, regardless of timing
- Requests made more than 7 days after the charge date
- Partial-period refunds for mid-cycle cancellation — your access continues until the end of the paid billing period
- Cases where the account was suspended or terminated for policy violations
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals — you retain full Pro access through the end of your current paid period. Cancellation is not the same as a refund request.
4. One-Time Purchase Refunds ($4.99 PDF Export)
One-time PDF purchases are for digital goods that are delivered immediately upon payment. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:
- You are purchasing a digital download and grant express consent to immediate delivery of the digital product
- Your right of withdrawal (where applicable under consumer law) is waived upon download initiation, consistent with digital goods exemptions under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Article 16(m)) and similar legislation
- You are responsible for verifying your resume content before purchasing the PDF export
Eligible for refund:
- Technical failure where the PDF was not successfully generated or delivered and could not be resolved within 24 hours
- Duplicate charges for the same purchase (billing error)
- Proven unauthorized transaction on your account
Not eligible for refund:
- Purchases where the PDF was successfully generated and the download was initiated
- Dissatisfaction with resume content (you control all resume text — we encourage previewing before purchase)
- Change of mind after download
- Incompatibility claims without supporting evidence
5. The PDF Download Rule — Important
⚠ Once a PDF download is initiated, refunds are not available — regardless of timing.
This applies to both one-time purchases and Pro subscriptions.
Resumflow's PDF export is a digital product that is immediately consumable upon delivery. Whether you purchased a $4.99 one-time PDF or used your Pro subscription to generate and download a PDF, the following rule applies:
- If you download a PDF within the first 7 days of your subscription, your subscription charge is non-refundable. You have consumed a primary benefit of the Pro plan (PDF generation), and therefore the purchase is considered fulfilled.
- You may still cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will prevent future billing — your next month's renewal will not be charged. You retain Pro access through the end of the current billing period.
- If you have not downloaded any PDF within 7 days and wish to cancel, you may be eligible for a refund of the subscription charge under the conditions in Section 3.
In summary: download = charge is final, but you can always cancel to stop future charges.

7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- 01Email us at support@resumflow.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
- 02Include your account email, the date of the charge, and the amount
- 03Briefly describe the reason for the refund request
- 04We will review your request and respond within 2 business days
- 05Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method within 5–10 business days
Please note: refund requests submitted via social media or chat will not be processed. All refund communications must go through support@resumflow.com.
8. Refund Processing & Timelines
Once a refund is approved:
- Credit/Debit Card (Stripe): 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank
- UPI / Indian Cards (Razorpay): 5–7 business days
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method only — we cannot issue refunds to a different card or bank account
- If your card has been cancelled, contact us and we will work with you to find an alternative resolution
Resumflow does not charge any fees to process a refund. However, original payment processing fees charged by Stripe or Razorpay may not be recoverable and could result in a slightly reduced refund amount.
9. Chargebacks & Disputes
We encourage you to contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in immediate account suspension. If you have a legitimate billing dispute, our support team will work to resolve it quickly. Accounts with fraudulent chargeback activity will be permanently banned from using Resumflow.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. All purchases made before a policy change are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
